Ying Vegetarian 瀛素食

It has been a while since I have left the ex-employer by end June.  4 weeks in Europe, relaxed life, so far so good!   Albany was very nice to ask me out for dinner.  And it was a wonderful meeting, both the chats and food.  She brought me to Ying Vegetarian 瀛素食, a tiny vegetarian restaurant located at Yaumatei.  It is very close to Yaumatei Post Office.

Food was delicious.  Most dishes contain imitated meat, i.e. appearance and taste as meat but actually is from vegetable or starch.   You can even have sashimi. It's Hong Kong style but present also in Thai, Japanese, etc.

We had Tom Yam vegetable soup, soft cell crab sushi and Vegetable Japanese pancake.  All were yummy and chunky.  We could eat only these.....

The place is very tiny.  I said very tiny.   Lane is narrow to pass through.  Be prepared that it's noisy.   Service was OK.  It accepts reservation.   If it is full, just be patient and wait for a while.   It won't be too long to get a table.
