Mango Tree

It's a late dinner after our big shopping at Elements.  Fanny has got 5 items and I a handbag and wallet to welcome the new year arrival, 2014.  We opt for Mango Tree, another Thai restaurant besides Nahm visited perhaps two years ago.

The first impression was good.  Simple up-class elegance.  It positions itself as a 4D restaurant:  offers delicious cuisine, combines artistic design, attention to details and masterful dedication.  Very good intention!  All food is prepared with an artful balance of sweet, sour and spicy.  It's quite admiring and the food was good.

For appetizer we began with Pomelo salad.  It's refreshing, mild spice, lime and herbs harmonized in a nice way.  Good and good!  Outside was good but we still ordered Chang beer to go with the delicious food. We both like it as it is very easy to drink.

As it was late, we went for easy Thai food.  Phad Thai, one of my favourites.  I recalled the street side fried noodles in Chiang Mai.  So much atmosphere, cheap and fantastic!  Eat quick when it's still hot!

The mixed satay grilled meats were succulent and tasty.   We could taste the distinct flavor.  The dressings brought the enjoyment to another level.
