La Perouse

and it turned to be very good. La
Perouse is a small restaurant in Central, on 5th floor of a building just opposite the old police station. Ambience is romantic.

The meal
started with seafood platter: mussel, oyster, prawn, scallop and lobster.
A taste of the sea complemented with prosecco. Refreshing in a warm
winter night. Continual of the freshness was a sumptuous tuna green salad
with balsamic vinegar dressing, slightly sugary and emulsified. Next came
a creamy mushroom soup.
We felt already quite full but there were still two large-sized main courses. The sea bass was not the fatty ones sold at city'super but lean, firm and delicious. The steak juicy but we were filled up to enjoy it.
The layout of the chocolate brownie was special and cool. However, it was not yummy. My homemade one tastes much better.
It was a fabulous meal. The trial offer was HK$588 for 2 persons. Wish that it will attract more guests and continue the superb quality.
