Cafe Paradise

Cafe Paradise is highly rated. It is one of the most patronised restaurants in Prince Edward. Naturally, I was attracted to it and it turned out nice.

The first and only time patronising Cafe Paradise dated back to end February this year, 2020. It was during the time of Coronavirus 19 when most people worked from home. At time, there wasn't a long queue. Over half of the restaurant was filled up. People from all walks of life dotted the cafe: single person, young couple, young families........ It's popular and welcome.  I passed by another few times. The long queue prohibited any further patronage.  Too sad!

The menu presented a great variety of food: set lunch, choices of all-day breakfast, pasta, desserts, etc.  My eyes wide opened with the value-for-money stone grill steak. The cheapest was HKD78, 200g US prime top blade muscle. One could enjoy soup, salad, drink and desserts together with just an addition of HKD30.

The steak was cooked 10% done and then delivered guest's table. Pleasant cooking sound played on the stone grill. It's best to move the steak away from the grill to avoid over cooking it. The meat was flavorful, tender and chewy at the central. Three different sauces and chunky french fries were served together. Yum! I have to say all dishes were delicious.  I read good comments on its eel rice and other dishes and hope I can visit it again to try them out.

Last but not the least is the eye-catching supports to the recent and lasting movements in the city.
