Beijing Home 北京老家

An interview with a written test of drafting a marketing plan and initiatives in both English and Chinese + PR copy for a loyalty program at a shopping mall was just done.  3 hours and took my ideas of running the program in the new year!   I felt a bit cheated.   It's after 12 noon.  Let's compensate with warm food in the cold weather.

A lady was distributing leaflet of a new restaurant at Humphreys Avenue.  It is called 北京老家, Peking cuisine.  The lunch menu looked quite appealing.  Mant choices of typical Peking dish along with soup and dessert cost HKD55. The deco is quite nice.  A small pot with plants and fish was embedded at each table.

My Peking Pork Stew- Tte flavour was intensive, the meat tender.  It's not a small dish but almost all eaten except the last pieces of fat.   Why?   It was delicious and I could not resist and I did not want to waste it.  Food is precious.  A woman on the next table order sweet and vinegar pork ribs.  It looked good too.

The soup was kind of OK. The dessert was so so.   It's best if you can dine here in a big group to try the various dishes at this good price.   It also provides noodle set.  Apart from Tsim Sha Tsui, it has another restaurant in Causeway Bay.
