My colleague recommended this restaurant, 宏 .  The owner worked at Sushi Hiro previously.  This authentic Japanese restaurant is tucked in a small corner of Shanghai Street.  I missed it the first time and ended up eating in another sushi restaurant 壽司然, shabby but price is really good.  HK$15 for urchin sushi.  Can't believe it.  Scallop sushi cost HK$13.  Great value if you don't mind the environment.

On Nov 12, it was the second attempt to find this restaurant.  Oh, I could find it.  But it's sad to learn that it would only operate up to Nov 15.  It's magic to be here shortly before it will close.  Yes, $200 plus 10% for sashimi rice is expensive.  But it's the only chance that I can eat here.  OK, give it a go.

Wow!  It's good.  Fresh sea urchin, my favourite!  Scallops were wonderful and so as the rest.  Inflation and eternal rising rent are terrible.  Small shops and restaurants have no chance to survive.  Poor Hong Kong, rising living cost but declining living standard.  So miserable!

宏 has a dessert restaurant nearby.  It received lots of compliment at Open Rice.  Apart from dessert, it also serves savory food.  Set menu with noodle, Swiss roll & tea from Sri Lanka served.  $99 for one set & no service charge.  OK la. Other lunch sets such as deep fry, pan fry pork chop and chicken cost no more than $80.  Let's try one day.
