Ocean Private Kitchen

It's another memorable birthday dinner at a private kitchen organized by Cammie. Very homely and the owner was very nice. Ocean is run by a Christian couple. They encountered God in 2001. Ocean is named because 'God's love and mercy are infinite, even deeper than the ocean.'
The food here is designed and prepared with love. It is delicate and delicious. Price reflects good value of money. Our dinner started with a complimentary appetizer, avocado dip, fresh and creamy. Decoration of cayenne pepper ignited our appetite. Yummy journey started!
First course was Thai prawn salad. Fresh and tasty. A dash of Thai sweet sour sauce mixed with cream. A punch to the prawn. Delight! The mushroom soup was also superb!
The wife, the cheerful and lovingly guest manager, talked to us at arrival of every course. She told us how God brought them to the opening of the private kitchen and many people blessed by God's grace. We could get a draw from a pool of Bible verses. Cammie's and mine were fitting the challenges we were facing.
We both picked beef out of the three choices of the main course beef. The idea was from their dreams. A black stripe and mountains. The black stripe is cuttlefish ink. The mountains are zucchini sitting on mash potato. My plate got empty very quick. The beef was tender and juicy. If I could choose another time, I would have picked the beef again. And it's the most welcome dish. I glanced a guest's halibut. It looked gorgeous!
We shared the two desserts: chocolate mousse with banana and coconut and pineapple in 5 textures. The mousse's presentation is unique. Lovely thoughts and fabulous presentation! The coconut pineapple in 5 textures was a true delight. Jelly, coconut stripes, ice cream, foam. Oops, I can't remember the last texture. Very special and pleasing.

Background music was very light. When all guests were sitting and talking, one could not hear the music anymore. The chat around was bearable. Good food and spirit. Wish that it will be the blessing to people and bring them to God.
