Dimdimsum Dim Sum Restaurant 點點心

My sister bump into this dimsum (Dimdimsum) restaurant when accompanying my mother for a eye clinic visit.  Comments were good.  So, I took my mum and aunt for a trial and would like to recommend it to you.  At time of writing I discovered that it was featured in quite a number of websites: Newsweek (101 top best to eat from top chefs), Timeout, Tripadvisor, Openrice, etc.  It indicates 'good food' from publications and the general public.  Everything cooked fresh-to-order.

An interesting one is the house speciality pineapple buns which are filled with chunks of the actual fruit.   For me, it's a gimmick as I am not a fans of pineapple.  I prefer the one from Hong Kong style bakery.

We were impressed by all the dishes on our table.   The radish cake was filled with thick radish strips. Yummy!  The beef balls were juicy.  I could easily eat one more, but the portion is for 3 persons.  So, go for the others.  The beauty of dimsum is small serving that one can go for lots of variety.

Egg yolk custard bun is a must.  Soft and not too sweet filling.

We ordered rice roll filled with vegetables.  Nice thin layer. One can swallow it without chewing.  No, no, no.  Best to taste and enjoy it by allowing it a bit time in the mouth.

Still a small bowl of steam pork rib rice with chicken feet to fill the stomach.  Then end the meal with osmanthus cake, fresh and strong fragrance.  Happy ending!

This is a small place, caters for small groups.  Unit price of each dish is cheaper than most dimsum restaurants which provide more decent set up and facilities.

Best is it has branches in Kowloon and Hong Kong Island.  Choose the one close to you is not a problem.  It's popular both with locals and Mainland China tourists.  Be early to get a table.
