Cinecittà

It was a pleasurable and leisure dinner with Fanny at Cinecitta, newly moved into Cosmo Hotel Mongkok.  Cinecitta was originally situated at Star Street, Wanchai, the venue where it earned a good note from Michelin in 2010.  The environment is comfy, featuring elements of Italian film.  It specialises Roman cuisine and emphasises on freshness.  To begin, we were offered complimentary Bruschetta.

We came here with a special offer, HK$398 for two persons, a 4-course dinner.

Appetizer
Chickpea tuna salad or
soup of the day

First Course
Clam risotto or
Spicy garlic pasta

Second Course
Ox tongue in red wine sauce or
Sole fillet in cherry tomato sauce or
Pizza classic margherita

Dessert
Apple Crumble

Except the apple crumble, all dishes were good, of size of a tasting menu but still made us full.  No decaf coffee offered.  A bit disappointed.  House wine is cheap, $38.  Feel good!

The restaurant offered a $100 coupon with a minimum spend of $300, plus a membership which entitles 20% off.  A good deal!
