Nahm

Accompanying a friend to buy her dream bag, Coach, at Elements. Her face showed a sweet smile of satisfaction.  A long-awaiting dream finally actualised.  I was so pleased.  We went to Nahm where she goes for lunch some time.  It turned out to be a nice surprise to me.

We ordered two snacks/ appetitizers, a main dish and tumeric rice.  The green papaya salad was very refreshing.  Spice did not go too far, just right.

I liked very much the paper rolls.  Carrot and cucumber thin strips dotted with black sesame seeds. Light, fresh and fragnant.  It is accompanied with a sweet and sour dressing.  Superb!

Last came the red curry beef with lots of vegetables.  Thai curry is never very spicy but always mild with coconut flavour.  The beef was tender and enjoyable.  Tumeric rice is not the best partner.  We just order it to try.  It's OK but not memorable.  Next time, I will take normal rice to go with yummy curry.

A very enjoyable night, chatting with this lovely friend and the food.
